How Nature’s Skin Balm Came To Be

Nature’s Skin Balm originated generations ago in Europe through the time-tested practice of a family dedicated to herbal healing methods. Experience and lack of “modern medicines” created a natural laboratory where many recipes and formulations were tested and used; resulting in the incredibly effective product we now call Nature’s Skin Balm. Herbs and other natural ingredients were collected by hand each spring and summer to be used in many different herbal balms and ointments. Demand for these healing products was high in the local population, with villagers and farmers coming from many miles around to seek advice and relief from many different skin problems.

My mother, Ruth Milchenko, brought the original recipe for Nature’s Skin Balm to North America following World War II. She made it one of her life’s missions to teach, not just us, her children, but any who would listen to all she knew about herbs and natural healing remedies. It was an essential part of our upbringing to go out in the spring to pick and dry herbs, and learn the recipes for making the balms and creams that were used in healing all of our skin problems and ailments.

This family legacy of natural healing continues into the professional life of one of the descendants of the cherished product. I have studied herbs and natural healing remedies extensively along with becoming a Licensed Massage Practitioner. This hands-on relaxation and muscle therapy combined with healing products for numerous skin problems and concerns has grown into a highly effective alternative therapy option for many individuals.

I have studied extensively about herbal formulations and have perfected the natural formulation of Nature’s Skin Balm and I’m happy to offer my clients and customers this heirloom product. It has been time-tested and proven itself reliable, effective, and cherished over and over again. Nature’s Skin Balm offers amazing support for healthy, happy skin, helping people over generations with their skin health concerns, such as psoriasis, the painful itching of eczema, irritating skin rashes, diaper rashes, bed sores, burns, sunburns, shingles, dermatitis, itchy, dry elbows and dry, painfully, cracked feet.
